The Mesa Neighborhood Association (OMNI) has initiated the "Monarch Project" to support the community in planting milkweed on the Mesa. As any of you know, the Monarch is endangered by loss of habitat. OMNI has obtained several hundred packets of milkweed seeds and is distributing them at various events on the Mesa.

We are hoping to expand this project to encourage the planting of native plants through education and distribution of seed and starter plants.
